You want to do your best creative work

Awesome!

If you asked me what it is that I try to do every day, I’d say “my best creative work”.

In fact, the value of us — as in you, me, and the rest of us — doing our best creative work, is at the very foundation of everything I make.

Everything I write about on this website, everything I talk about in my podcast, the book I wrote, the course I made, the other websites I run — all of it is done with the goal in mind of helping people like you find the right tools, workflows, motivation, community, and clarity to do your best creative work.

The reason I care about focus, productivity, workflows, apps, gear, community, money, and more is because those are things which empower me to do my best creative work. I want to mix them all together into the perfect cocktail that, when consumed, transforms me into a superhero capable of creating amazing things that inspire and encourage myself and others.

If that sounds awesome to you, too, then you’re in the right place.

All this said, thank you for letting me know about your desire to do better creative work. Your feedback will help me know what to focus on with the email newsletter and any new projects that I start.

And, as a thank-you for your feedback, here are two resources I think you’ll love:

  • The Creative Life: This is a video I put together with the help from a friend. We took all my values and thoughts related to creativity and put them into this “visual article”.

If you’re more the reading type, here an article I wrote on the same topic: The Fight to Stay Creative.

  • The Crossroads of Should and Must: This is one of my new favorite books. I’ve read it twice this year already. It is inspiration, beautiful, and fun. If you’re having trouble defining what your most important work is — your must — then this book can be your friend.
