You want to get more focused

Me too!

How I spend my time and attention is something I am always trying to improve. Because you can’t just “set it and forget it”. How we spend our time and attention is an ever-moving target.

This is one of my favorite Benjamin Franklin quotes: “Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.”

You’re probably not interested in “life hacks” or “weird tricks”. Nor am I. What I am interested in is something I call Meaningful Productivity.

Meaningful Productivity is what happens when we’re giving our time and attention to the things which are most important. It’s not about getting through your email faster (though that would be awesome). It’s more about having your time and energy line up with your vision and values.

All that to say, thanks for letting me know about your desire to be more focused with your time and energy. Your feedback will help me know what to focus on with the email newsletter and any new projects that I start.

As a thank-you for your feedback, here are two resources I think you’ll love:

  • The Procrastinator’s Guide to Progress: This is my free PDF eBook. It’s jam packed with some of my best teaching on overcoming procrastination, gaining momentum, building your personal integrity, and more.

  • The One Thing: This is one of the most influential books I’ve read in a long time. It was instrumental in helping me craft The Focus Course, and I continue to reference this book again and again when I’m trying to stay on track with work and life.

If you have any other questions about productivity, time management, or focus, I would love to hear from you!

Please [send me an email]( to share what it is that’s challenging you right now.

Thanks again!
