Looking at Apple’s lineup of the 8 different hardware designs of the iMac since 1998, something I noticed is that the iMac has evolved in pairs (with the obvious exclusion of the 2002 gooseneck iMac). A similar pattern to the iPhone’s design evolution. Or perhaps I should say it the other way around: that the iPhone is following a similar design evolution pattern as the iMac.
