Check out photo number 3. The parachute they built for the rover landing. It weighs 100 pounds but can handle up to 65,000 pounds of force. They’re testing it inside the world’s largest wind tunnel. The chute doesn’t look all that impressive until you see the how little the guy is standing underneath it.
